Music as a bridge between generations
On March 6, 2021 I had the privilege of performing at the Nicasius Care Home in Heeze. I regularly visit care institutions to let residents enjoy live music, and this performance was no exception.
A varied musical concert
During the concert I presented a varied repertoire, ranging from classical pieces to beloved melodies from the residents' youth. I also played Dutch songs and jazz, which created a familiar and warm atmosphere.
Positive reactions and media coverage
The residents' reactions were heartwarming; many expressed how much they had enjoyed the music. The performance also received attention in the local media, underlining the community's involvement in events like these.
Music as a unifying force
This experience once again emphasized for me the power of music to connect people and bring joy, regardless of age or background. I look forward to giving more such performances in the future and contributing to the residents' well-being.
Would you also like a concert for the residents of a care institution as part of daytime activities? This can be either in the morning or the afternoon. Many residents have an unforgettable afternoon. I would be happy to perform at your elderly care facility.
There are already quite a few care institutions that make use of this.
