🎻 At Sunday evening, December 22 I provided the live violin program during the annual Christmas dinner at Collse Hoeve in Nuenen. In the beautifully decorated hall, with elegantly set tables and subtle Christmas lighting, the guests enjoyed an evening focused entirely on atmosphere, culinary delights and music.
Atmospheric venue

During the Christmas dinner, this ambience was further enhanced by the live music and festive decorations.
The concert
My contribution consisted of a varied program of classical works, light music and well-known Christmas melodies. Think of pieces by Strauss, Vivaldi, Saint-Saëns and Piazzolla, alternated with familiar Christmas classics such as Silent Night, White Christmas and The Christmas Song.
The music was tailored to the dinner: restrained during the starter and main course, more pronounced towards dessert and the finale. This created a pleasant balance between background music and small musical moments when guests were happy to dance.
