First, the Conservatory

My name is Ninia Lazaar. I grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia, and began performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of six. In 1987, I started my studies at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, where I was taught by international masters and won multiple awards. In addition to a busy international career, I am a certified violin instructor and regularly give masterclasses. I also work as an examiner.

Concerts and Violin Lessons

During my conservatory studies, I specialized in violin methodology, focusing on both young talent and advanced students. As a professional musician, I perform with ensembles and orchestras. Besides my love for classical music, I have a passion for Argentine tango (such as Astor Piazzolla), world music, and baroque music.

I consider the violin to be an “idiosyncratic” instrument: you have to build a relationship with it and fall in love with it. For me, music is a mirror of the heart and soul. Do you also have a passion for music? Then I warmly invite you to play the violin together!
