First the Conservatory
My name is Ninia Lazaar. I grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia, and began performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of six. In 1987 I started my studies at the State Conservatory of Tbilisi, where I studied with international masters and won several prizes. Alongside a busy international career I am a certified violin teacher and regularly give masterclasses. I am also active as an examiner.
Concerts and Violin Lessons
During my conservatory studies I specialized in violin pedagogy, focusing on both young talent and advanced students. As a professional musician I perform with ensembles and orchestras. In addition to my love for classical music, I have a passion for Argentine tango (such as Astor Piazzolla), world music and baroque music.
I consider the violin a "headstrong" instrument: you have to build a relationship with it and fall in love with it. For me, music is a mirror of the heart and the soul. Do you also have a passion for music, and especially the violin? Then I warmly invite you to play violin with me!
