First, the conservatory
My name is Ninia Lazaar. I grew up in Tbilisi, Georgia, and began performing as a soloist with orchestras at the age of six. In 1987 I began my studies at the State Conservatory of Tbilisi, where I studied with international masters and won several prizes. Alongside a busy international career, I am a certified violin teacher and regularly give masterclasses. I am also active as an examiner.
Concerts and violin lessons
During my conservatory studies I specialized in violin pedagogy, focused on both young talent and advanced students. As a professional musician I perform with ensembles and orchestras. Besides my love for classical music, I have a passion for Argentine tango (such as Astor Piazzolla), world music and baroque music.
I consider the violin to be a "stubborn" instrument: you must build a relationship with it and fall in love with it. To me, music is a mirror of the heart and soul. Do you also have a passion for music, and in particular the violin? Then I warmly invite you to play violin together!
